is this email from Yahoo or somebody is cheating by the name of Yahoo?

I have received the below email. I am surprised why Yahoo is asking our accounts details whereas if we signin it is enough to know that we are using our accounts or not. If somebody knows let me know if the emails are not fraud

What is the deal with Yahoo mail?

Ever since their ‘scheduled maintenance’ the weekend before last, I’ve been having problems accessing my account. I either get the ‘Sorry you’ve stumbled onto a temporary problem, try again later’ or a variety of other messages. Also — whenever I do manage to log on to my account, it takes forever. I mean the hang time can be a minute or more, and sometimes it times out.Whatever changes they have made to Yahoo mail, have made the service worse instead of better

I’m ready to start looking around for an alternate. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
Also, when I do get into my account, many times I can’t open any new messages.
I’m already using Firefox but thanks for the suggestion
I already know that Yahoo did maintenance, as I stated in my question. But almost two weeks later I would not expect to still have problems. Thanks anyway for taking the time to answer.
